How Probiotic Tampons Work:
- Probiotic bacteria are contained inside the tampon. They are released under the influence of heat and moisture when inserted into the vagina.
- Ellen absorbs menstrual fluid, which rehydrates the bacteria, causing them to activate.
- Within 90 minutes, LN bacteria colonize the vaginal mucosa, balance the vaginal pH, and prevent other bacteria and yeast from colonizing the vagina.
