Elderberry Herb is a product containing elderberry flowers for preparing infusions. The preparation supports the body's natural immunity, helps clear sinuses and the upper respiratory tract. An infusion of elderberry flowers is a great addition to the care of vascular and problematic skin.
Elderberry flowers are very rich in flavonoids and quercetin. They are also, of course, a valuable herbal raw material due to the essential oils they contain. The medicinal substances responsible for the healing properties of elderberry flowers include phytosterols, triterpenes, phenolic acids, tannins, pectins, and mucilages. Elderberry also contains large amounts of mineral salts (especially potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium, phosphorus, and zinc) as well as B vitamins and vitamin C.
Recommended daily intake:
- Pour a glass of hot water over 1 tablespoon 2-3 times a day,
- Infuse, covered, for 5-8 minutes.
