D- Vitum Forte Max 4000 IU is a dietary supplement intended for healthy adults over 75 years of age to supplement their diet with vitamin D3 and omega-3 fatty acids. The product contains a high content of vitamin D3 and omega-3 acids. The vitamin D it contains comes from lanolin from sheep wool. D-Vitum Forte are small, easy-to-swallow capsules filled with linseed oil, in which vitamin D is dissolved.
The body produces vitamin D through skin synthesis under the influence of UV radiation. However, the use of creams with UV filters, very little sun exposure, and low availability of sunlight in our latitude from autumn to spring limit the ability to produce vitamin D in cells. Therefore, it is important to provide it in appropriate amounts through your diet.
Ingredient properties:
Vitamin D:
- takes part in many processes in the body;
- helps maintain healthy bones, teeth and proper calcium levels in the blood;
- supports the proper functioning of muscles and the immune system;
- helps in the proper absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus, and also takes part in the process of cell division.
The product contains linseed oil with a high content of omega-3 fatty acids, which include alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).
Alpha-linolenic acid helps maintain proper cholesterol levels in the blood. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 2 g of ALA.
Recommended daily intake:
- healthy adults over 75 years of age – 1 capsule daily after a meal;
- do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Storage conditions:
- the dietary supplement should be kept out of the reach of children,
- the preparation should be stored at a temperature below 25 ° C,
- protect from light and moisture.
Warnings:
- the dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet,
- do not take the dietary supplement if you are allergic to any of its ingredients,
- the preparation is intended for adults over 75 years of age.
