D-Vitum400 IU Aerosol is a dietary supplement containing 400 IU of vitamin D in one dose. The preparation is intended for infants, children, and adolescents. Vitamin D is needed for proper growth and bone development in children. It also helps maintain healthy bones and teeth, and proper muscle function. Vitamin D also helps in the proper absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus, maintaining normal calcium levels in the blood, and the proper functioning of the immune system.
Vitamin D supplementation is recommended from the first days of life, regardless of the newborn's feeding method (breast/formula). From birth to 6 months of age, vitamin D supplementation is recommended at a dose of 400 IU/day. From 6 to 12 months of age, vitamin D supplementation is recommended at a dose of 400-600 IU/day, depending on the vitamin D intake in the diet.
Indications:
The preparation is recommended for newborns, infants, and children to supplement the diet with vitamin D3.
Recommended daily intake:
Newborns, infants, and children – 1 press of the dosing pump once daily directly into the mouth or with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplements cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Maintaining proper health requires a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The dietary supplement should be kept out of the reach of children.
Ingredients:
MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), antioxidant: mixed tocopherols.
Daily portion (1 pump press) contains: 10 µg (400 IU, 200% of the reference intake) of vitamin D3.
