Clisma Lax Disposable Enema, Rectal Enema with a Capacity of 133 ml
Clisma Lax is a medical device intended for performing an enema for easy, quick, safe, and hygienic cleansing of the lower colon. Clisma Lax consists of a convenient, soft plastic bottle containing an aqueous solution of phosphate salts, equipped with an anatomical rectal cannula coated with lubricating gel. Thanks to this, the procedure is quick, safe and hygienic, easy to perform at home or on an outpatient basis.

Clisma Lax – how to use:
1. Remove the protective cap from the rectal cannula;
2. Grasp the bottle and gently insert the cannula into the rectum towards the navel, then squeeze it all the way out. A small amount of liquid
may remain in the bottle. In children, insert the cannula no more than halfway;
3. After squeezing out the liquid, remove the cannula, place the empty bottle in the same carton, and discard it.
4. Remain lying down for approximately 5 minutes, until you feel the urge to have a bowel movement;
5. There is no need to hold the enema for longer than 5 minutes. Even if there is no urge to defecate, an attempt should be made
to have a bowel movement, as the administered solution should be eliminated in the shortest possible time.
Warnings and precautions:
- Clismalax should be used as rarely as possible, only when necessary.
- Long-term use only when medically indicated.
- Do not use in case of nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, intestinal obstruction or stenosis, or rectal bleeding.
