How to use Clinique Night Treatment?
Apply a pea-sized amount (0.25g) to cleansed skin before bed. Avoid the eye area. For the first two weeks, we recommend using the product every other night, then switching to nightly.
Smart Night Clinical MD Multi-Dimensional Repair Treatment Retinol is formulated for maximum effectiveness and safety. However, tolerance to retinol may vary individually. For first-time users and those with drier skin types, we recommend using the product every other day for more than two weeks to give your skin extra time to adapt. During treatment, you may experience mild redness, a warm sensation, tingling, or peeling. These are normal, temporary signs that the formula is working. If you experience increased discomfort, return to using the treatment every other night until your skin adjusts. This may take up to 4 weeks.
For added comfort, we recommend using a gentle cleanser like Clinique Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam in your daily routine. Limit exfoliation. If you use Clarifying Lotion, consider switching to Clarifying Lotion 1.0. After using Smart Night Clinical MD Multi-Dimensional Repair Treatment Retinol, we recommend applying an additional layer of moisturizer for added hydration.
During treatment and for a week after, limit sun exposure and use a sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher during the day. Please note that extreme weather conditions, such as wind or cold, can further irritate your skin. Protect your face and skin accordingly.
