It applies flawlessly. No sharpening required. The smudge applicator on the opposite end makes it easy to create a variety of looks. The formula allows for blending and smudging for 60 seconds before setting.

How to use
Squeeze a small amount of product to avoid exposing the formula to air, which dries it (the pencil doesn't retract). Line your eyes. Use the sponge applicator to blend. Wait 60 seconds after application. Carefully replace the cap after use to protect the pencil's silky formula. The pencil can be used alone or with eyeshadow. Remove with your favorite Clinique makeup remover.
