What does Chopin George Sand eau de parfum for women smell like?
The composition was inspired by George Sand, one of the most famous women of the 19th century - writer, freethinker and defender of women's rights, who loved to break the rules. The conventions of the era, wearing trousers and touching on bold, sometimes uncomfortable topics in her literature. A great love, and from 1838 to 1847 also the life companion and guardian of Fryderyk Chopin.
George Sand is a fragrance full of contradictions, composed of contrasting notes that create a very complex, multi-dimensional whole. The opening is fresh and energetic, almost cologne-like thanks to the combination of aromatic citruses, slightly camphorous rosemary, and floral-herbal lavender. As it develops on the skin, the composition begins to warm and veer towards the feminine side - reigning here are juicy fruits and creamy, essential white flowers, which give a sweetness and a carnal, sensual character, further emphasized by the balsamic, slightly citrusy elemi resin. The base of the composition brings together the feminine and masculine elements, combining soft, fluffy musk, carnal amber and sweet vanilla with dry, dry cedar and earthy, raw vetiver.
