Product Description
What is Cataroft?
CATAROFT is a moisturizing, isotonic eye solution that additionally contains potassium iodide. It should be instilled into the eye. The added potassium iodide acts as a free radical scavenger. These properties of potassium iodide are used in the prevention and maintenance treatment of ocular exudates and hemorrhages. Without consulting an ophthalmologist, the preparation can be used for simple eye lubrication by instilling it into the eye or applying a compress to the eyelids. The product can also be used as an adjunct to lubricating the eye during certain absorption processes (in particular, exudates, hemorrhages into the vitreous humor, and cataracts of various etiologies). CATAROFT is intended for both adults and children.
