Cataroft Free is a medical device in the form of eye drops, an innovative moisturizing eye solution. The drops are enriched with potassium iodide.
This medical device was created for those who struggle with dry and irritated eyes. The drops provide immediate relief.
Potassium iodide, as a free radical scavenger, effectively supports the prevention and treatment of ocular exudates and hemorrhages.

You do not need to consult an ophthalmologist to use Cataroft Free for regular eye moisturizing. You can safely instill it into your eye or apply it as a compress to your eyelids.
The product can also be used as an aid during absorption processes, especially in the case of exudates, vitreous bleeding, and various types of cataracts.
CATAROFT Free is suitable for both adults and children and adolescents. It does not contain preservatives, making it an ideal choice for people with sensitive eyes.

Application:

How to use:

- the exact dosage and period of use of the product should be determined by a doctor;
- usually 1-2 drops are applied to the conjunctival sac in each eye 2 to 4 times a day;
- people wearing contact lenses should remove them before using the product;

Step by step:

1. Wash your hands and sit comfortably
2. Unscrew the cap from the bottle
3. Hold the bottle upside down between your thumb and fingers
4. Before first use, it is recommended to squeeze the first drop out of the eye by gently squeezing the bottle, as pressing firmly and irregularly may result in a larger volume of solution being released
5. Using your finger, gently pull the lower eyelid down
6. Place the tip of the dropper close to the eye, but not touching the eye or surrounding area
7. Squeeze the bottle gently so that only one drop is released. Then release the lower eyelid and slowly close the eye so that the drops are evenly distributed across the surface of the eye. Note that there may be a few seconds delay between squeezing the bottle and the drop coming out.
8. If necessary, repeat the entire procedure to apply the product to the other eye
9. After each use, shake the bottle downwards to remove any remaining liquid from the dropper tip, but do not touch it. This is necessary to ensure the sterility of the eye drops and to facilitate the administration of the next drop during the next application of the product.
10. Close the bottle tightly immediately after administering the product.

Warnings:

- immediately after applying the product, blurred vision may occur for a very short time. This may make driving and operating machinery difficult. It is recommended not to drive or operate machinery for 15 minutes after applying the product;
- do not overuse the drops;
- do not use Cataroft Free after 12 weeks from first opening the bottle. After using the drops, immediately close the bottle tightly;
- store out of the reach and sight of small children at room temperature. Do not freeze.

Contraindications:

- do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding (consultation with a doctor required);
- do not use in case of chronic purulent inflammation of the face and hemorrhagic diathesis;
- do not use in patients with abnormal thyroid function;
- do not use in newborns;
- do not use the preparation in case of allergy to its ingredients. In case of an allergic reaction (severe itching, pain, redness), discontinue use immediately.
