How to perform the CarciReagent test?

When its level is elevated, the color of the solution changes, and the result can be read by comparing it with the attached color scale.

The CarciReagent scale ranges from 1 to 8. A result of 1 to 3 indicates normal, which gives a negative result. Results of 4 to 8 suggest elevated tyrosine levels, which indicates the need for further diagnosis. Increased amounts of this compound may be associated with serious conditions, including cancer. In the case of a positive result, a medical consultation is necessary.
