BioMarine®1140 Shark Liver Oil 60 Capsules

BioMarine is a European patent-protected combination of biological, high-quality, naturally pure and unenriched oils from the liver of deep-sea sharks of the Squaliformes species (Southwest Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea, areas around New Zealand and Australia). BioMarine®1140 food for special medical purposes (FSMP) is a unique source of a natural composition of fats, mainly complex fats: alkylglycerols and squalene, building substances necessary for the human body to obtain the genetic and physiological structure and functioning of: immune, hematopoietic, lymphatic and skin systems.

2 capsules (3.08 g) contain: energy value (energy) 100.3 kJ / 23.6 kcal; Fat 2.28 g, including saturated fatty acids 22 g, alkylglycerols 480 mg, squalene 480 mg, carbohydrates 0.25 g, including sugars 0 g, fiber 0 g, protein 0.55 g, salt 0 g. Indications: During disorders and diseases, the human body's demand for this type of fat increases significantly, therefore, as shown by 30 multi-center and multi-directional scientific studies conducted in patients, BioMarine®1140 (żspm) is intended for dietary management in malnutrition of the human body with complex fats in parallel with the treatment of: • severe and recurrent bacterial, viral, fungal and mixed infections, • autoimmune thyroid diseases (e.g. Hashimoto's disease), • blood count disorders, • rheumatoid arthritis joints,
• psoriasis, atopic dermatitis.
• during convalescence after infections,
• during an increased incidence of infectious diseases.

Directions for use:
Unless your doctor or nutrition specialist recommends otherwise, BioMarine®1140 medical food (ŻSPM) should be consumed as follows:

In parallel with the treatment of diseases in the acute phase:
severe and recurrent infections, autoimmune diseases in the exacerbation period, severe blood count disorders 12-15 capsules daily (142-177 kcal) for up to 6 months
In parallel with the treatment of diseases in the chronic phase:
RA, psoriasis, AZS, thyroid diseases, moderate disorders Blood count and during convalescence after infections, 6-10 capsules daily (71–118 kcal) indefinitely. In parallel with the diagnosis of disorders or diseases: infectious, autoimmune, associated with blood count disorders, 2-4 capsules daily (24–47 kcal) indefinitely. The capsules can be swallowed whole, but we recommend consuming only the oil contained within, as it provides the building substances and the human body should receive them through the mucous membranes of the oral cavity. Therefore, before swallowing, hold the oil in your mouth for several seconds – this allows the mucous membranes to undergo direct physiological reconstruction and regeneration. Contraindications and precautions: The product should be taken as directed by a physician or under his supervision. BioMarine®1140 (żspm) does not replace therapy prescribed by a physician, but is intended for use in conjunction with medical treatment. This nutritionally incomplete product should not be used as the sole source of food for those for whom it is intended. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Maintaining good health requires a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. This product is not enriched with fish oil and does not contain proteins (including parvalbumin), which are responsible for the development of an allergic reaction to fish.

Contraindications:

- Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
- Contraindications to the use of more than 4 g per day of higher polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids (110 BioMarine® capsules) include: bleeding diathesis, hemophilia, and planned surgical procedures. Particular caution should be exercised when using anticoagulants (acenocoumarol, warfarin, clopidogrel, acetylsalicylic acid), as their effects may be intensified, clotting time may be prolonged, and bruising may occur. Squalene administered intravenously may occasionally cause allergic reactions or inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.
