BioCardine®Omega-3 60 Capsules
BioCardine®Omega-3 is a food for special medical purposes (FSMP) and has been used in 25 multi-center and multi-directional scientific studies conducted in patients treated for: coronary heart disease, schizophrenia and depression, as well as inflammatory diseases. BioCardine®Omega-3 (żspm) is a European patent-protected combination of biological, full-value, naturally pure and unenriched oils from sardines, anchovies and mackerel muscles (South Pacific Ocean).
BioCardine®Omega-3 (żspm) is a unique source of natural fat composition, mainly higher polyunsaturated Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA - eicosapentaenoic acid, ETE - eicosatrienoic acid, DPA - docosapentaenoic acid, DHA - docosahexaenoic acid), and higher monounsaturated fatty acids (NA - nervonic acid), building substances necessary for the human body to achieve the genetic and physiological structure and functioning of:
- the heart and circulatory system,
- the brain and nervous system,
- the nervous system anti-inflammatory.
Ingredients:
Oils from sardines, anchovies and mackerel muscles, aroma, antioxidants: a mixture of tocopherols, rosemary extracts and esters of fatty acids and L-ascorbic acid, shell ingredients (gelatin, carrier: glycerol, water).

fat 2.28 g, including saturated fatty acids 0.24 g, monounsaturated fatty acids 0.31 g, higher polyunsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3 1.63 g, cholesterol 0.005 g; Carbohydrates (glycerol) 0.266 g, protein (gelatin) 0.602 g.
Additional ingredients: aromas - natural lemon flavor, antioxidants - mixed tocopherols (E306).
Casing ingredients: gelatin, glycerol (carrier), water.
Indications:During disorders and diseases, the human body's demand for this type of fat increases several times, therefore, as shown by 25 multi-center and multi-directional scientific studies conducted in patients, BioCardine®Omega-3 (żspm) is intended for dietary management in parallel with the treatment of diseases in which the human body requires increased amounts of higher polyunsaturated Omega-3 fatty acids:
- lipid profile disorders, e.g. hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia, dyslipidemia,
- atherosclerosis, rhythm and conduction disorders, myocarditis, hypertension, ischemic heart disease,
- rheumatoid arthritis,
- psoriasis, atopic dermatitis,
- metabolic diseases, e.g. diabetes,
- schizophrenia, depression, multiple sclerosis.
- during recovery after serious cardiovascular incidents, e.g. heart attack, stroke;
- in the perioperative period and during recovery after procedures,
- while following a ketogenic diet.
Recommended use:
Unless your doctor or nutrition specialist recommends otherwise, BioCardine®Omega-3 (żspm) should be consumed as follows:
Simultaneously with Treatment of diseases in the acute phase: recent heart attack and stroke, schizophrenia and depression, use simultaneously with a low-fat diet. 12 capsules (120 kcal) or 0.21 ml of oil per kg of body weight per day for up to 6 months.
In parallel with the treatment of diseases in the chronic phase: heart and circulatory system diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, schizophrenia and depression, and past coronary events. 6 capsules (60 kcal) or 0.11 ml of oil per kg of body weight per day indefinitely. In parallel with the diagnosis of disorders or diseases: heart and circulatory system and inflammatory, brain and nervous system. 4 capsules (40 kcal) or 0.07 ml of oil per kg of body weight per day. indefinitelyNotes:
-The product is taken as directed by a physician or under his supervision.
-BioCardine®Omega-3 (żspm) does not replace therapy prescribed by a physician, but is intended for use in parallel with treatment. The product is nutritionally incomplete and cannot be used as the sole source of food for the people for whom it was intended.
-Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Maintaining proper health requires a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Contraindications:
-Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
-Contraindications to the use of more than 4 g of higher polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids include: bleeding diathesis, hemophilia, planned surgical procedures.
- Particular caution should be exercised when using anticoagulants (acenocoumarol, warfarin, clopidogrel, acetylsalicylic acid), as their effect may be intensified, clotting time may be prolonged, and bruising may occur.
- Medical monitoring is recommended 2-3 weeks after starting the product.
- Taking more than the recommended amount may prolong bleeding time.
Storage:
Store the closed container at room temperature, out of the reach of small children. Protect from light. The expiry date is on the packaging.
