Apap Thermal Warming Patch
Apap Thermal is a medical device in the form of warming patches. The patches provide 8 hours of warmth. It is a natural way to relieve:
- back pain
- muscle pain
- joint pain
Indications:
- Warming patch, provides relief from back, muscle, and joint pain.
- Intended for: adults and children over 13 years of age.
Effect:
- The warming effect lasts up to 8 hours.
- Single-use patch, intended for external use only.
- Apply directly to the skin.
How to use:
- Open the sachet by tearing it along the score line (do not cut).
- Remove the protective foil from the back of the heating patch and apply it to the painful area on clean, dry skin.
- The patch gradually releases heat, reaching the optimal temperature after approximately 30 minutes.
- It is activated by contact with air - open the sachet just before applying the patch.
Storage:
- The patch should be kept out of the reach of children and animals, at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight and drying.
- It should be used before the expiry date stated on the sachet.
Precautions:
- AN IMPROPERLY USED PATCH, EVEN IF NOT FULLY WARMED, MAY CAUSE BURNS.
- Follow the instructions for use and frequently observe the effect of the patch.
- To prevent the risk of burns: you must allow air to circulate around the patch.
- Do not apply pressure to it, for example by lying down or sitting on it or wearing tight clothing. If the patch becomes uncomfortably hot or a rash appears, discontinue use immediately.
- Do not use on people who are unable to remove the patch themselves, such as the elderly or disabled.
- The patch is not intended to treat menstrual pain or pain associated with irritable bowel syndrome.
- Do not use the patch on any area of the body other than the arms and back.
- The risk of burns is greater on delicate or aging skin.
- Pregnant women, as well as people with circulatory or heart problems, diabetes, nerve damage or sensory disorders, skin conditions, or rheumatoid arthritis, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using the patch.
Contraindications:
- The patch should not be used on children under 12 years of age, or during sleep, or for longer than 8 hours a day.
- The patch should not be applied to areas of redness or inflammation, or to damaged, bruised, or irritated skin.
- The patch should not be used by people who have previously had an allergic reaction to medications or cosmetics.
- The patch should not be used on areas of the body that do not feel heat. It is not recommended to use it with creams, rubbing agents, or lotions intended for application to the skin, or near other sources of heat. It should not be used by people who are bedridden or prone to skin ulcers.
- Do not burn the patch. Do not crush the patch - it will heat up on its own within a few minutes. Do not put it in a microwave or attempt to reheat a used patch. Do not soak it in water or other liquids.
- Please note: The patch is single-use and intended for external use only. After removal, you may experience slight redness of the skin. If this persists after a few hours, discontinue use of the heating patches until the redness has completely subsided. The ingredients in the heating patch may be harmful if swallowed or come into direct contact with the skin or eyes. If swallowed, rinse your mouth with water. If contact with skin or eyes occurs, rinse the area immediately with water. In both cases, consult a doctor.
- Waste disposal: The patch should be disposed of in household waste.
