How does the Anti-Tick tick removal device work?
The steady increase in Lyme disease, caused by a bacteria transmitted by ticks, discourages summer hikes in the forest. The device resembles a syringe and works on the principle of a suction pump - gradually pulling back the plunger after placing the tip on the bite site creates a vacuum that allows the tick to be "sucked" out of the body. Anti-Tick - how to use?
- Press the rubber plunger all the way in to prepare the device for use.
- Put the tip against your body where the venom was introduced or the tick was attached (the bite site should be directly under the tip).
- Press the device against your body, holding it in this position while slowly pulling back the plunger.
- Hold the device in this position for about 10-15 seconds, repeat the procedure if necessary.
- Disinfect the bite site with disinfectants
- Wash the tip of the device with soap and water or disinfect it
