Disminall is a dietary supplement intended for physically active people, based on a micronized flavone fraction and Ruscus aculeatus flower extract with added vitamin C.
Thanks to the micronized flavone fraction, Diosminall contains rich ingredients such as diosmin and hesperidin.
- Diosmin is a natural chemical compound belonging to the flavonoid group. Flavonoids are obtained mainly from the pulp, skin, and seeds of citrus fruits. Flavonoids in the plant are responsible for, among other things, fighting insects and fungi that attack the plant, protecting the plant from excess ultraviolet radiation, and acting as antioxidants. In the digestive system, diosmin is converted into diosmetin by bacterial flora, which is then metabolized into phenolic acids and/or their derivatives and excreted in the urine. Unabsorbed diosmin is excreted in the feces. Diosmin, combined with hesperidin and vitamin C, is recommended as a dietary supplement supporting the circulatory system. Hesperidin is an organic chemical compound that is a glycoside of hesperetin, a type of flavanone. Formerly called vitamin P2, it exhibits strong antioxidant properties, primarily supporting collagen synthesis and the proper maintenance of collagen structures. Butcher's broom is a plant belonging to the Ruscaceae family (also known as ruscus aculeatus) native to the Mediterranean region. The fruit is a spherical, red berry that ripens in September and remains on the plant throughout the winter. The rhizomes are harvested in late autumn. Until the mid-20th century, butcher's broom was used in natural medicine and herbal medicine, but only later were the medicinal properties of this plant recognized.
